PAUL, WEISS, RIFKIND, WHARTON & GARRISON LLP

In the summer of 2023 I worked as an intern in the Information Systems department of Paul, Weiss. As an intern, I was responsible for creating and distributing communications to all employees. I also developed a digital file system for company resources. I worked directly with partners, associates, and other employees of the firm to ensure that these systems would benefit the firm’s workflow.

Anton Media Group

In September 2019, I pitched an idea for a column to Anton Media Group, the publisher of my local newspaper (as well as numerous other publications across Long Island). I have since developed "The Angle" into
a monthly column that explores current events and areas of interest from the perspective of a high school student. My goal is to make the news relevant and interesting to my peers by offering fresh ideas and perspectives.

Student Tutor

Over the course of the last two years,I have combined the knowledge that I have gained in the classroom with my love of working with people to build a tutoring business. I tutor middle and high school students in all academic disciplines and focus on the importance of organizational and writing skills. I find it extremely rewarding to work with younger students and play an important role in their academic development.

Park City SUP

In the summer of 2019, I worked for  Park City SUP. I learned the basics of business operation, including opening and closing, interacting with customers, paddle board assembly, and individual paddle board instruction. (and I got to spend my downtime on a board)

National Society of Newspaper Columnists

I have been a member of the National Society of Newspaper Columnists since December 2020. The stated goal of the NSNC is to promote "professionalism and camaraderie among columnists and other writers of the serial essay, including bloggers. NSNC advocates for columnists and free-press issues".

The Schreiber Times

As a freshman in high school, I became a contributing writer for my school newspaper. While I have always been fascinated by current events, this was my first opportunity to become a part of a true publication. I could have never imagined the enormous impact that the Schreiber Times would have on my life. Throughout my involvement with the paper, my passion for journalism and the pursuit of the truth has continued to grow.

The Ed. Foundation Junior Board

The mission of The Ed. Foundation is to support initiatives beyond basic educational needs and enhance educational opportunities for all students in the Port Washington public school district. I have served as an officer in various capacities on The Ed. Foundation Junior Board for the last three years. As President, I serve as liaison among district administration, faculty, and students.  I am also responsible for running monthly meetings, creating agendas for each meeting, attending fundraising and other events, as well as serving as the primary spokesperson and representative.

Schreiber Student Advocacy Club

The Schreiber Student Advocacy Club (SSAC) is a student-run organization that collaborates with faculty, students, and community members to address critical current issues and their impact on students and the communities in which they live. As Vice President of the SSAC, I am responsible for recruiting new members and serve a critical role in moderating group discussions.

Wilderness Adventures Grand Teton Summer Program

Over the course of this three-week adventure, I had the opportunity to backpack through the Teton Wilderness and Wind River Range, raft the rapids of the Snake River, and explore Yellowstone Lake by sea kayak. Prior to arriving in Jackson Hole, WY, I spent twelve weeks training for what would be my successful summit attempt of the 13,771-foot Grand Teton. The lessons that I learned about teamwork, resilience, and the importance of a positive mindset continue to drive me on a daily basis.

Port Washington Youth Activities K-8 Wrestling

Together with my wrestling coach and fellow volunteers, I introduce youth wrestlers to basic wrestling skills and techniques. Wrestling has played an integral role in my personal development and I hope to share my passion for the sport with the next generation of wrestlers. The active role that I play in the program that gave me my first opportunity to step on the mat is extremely rewarding.

Island Harvest Food Bank

Island Harvest is the largest hunger-relief organization on Long Island. Its goal is to raise awareness, increase education about hunger, and supply food to those who are homeless and food insecure. As an active volunteer, I have traveled throughout Long Island to participate in food drives, packing events, and distribution days. The days that I spend in the field helping others are very special to me.
